to say i enjoyed this book is an understatement. i read the entire thing in two sittings, in less than half a day.
the characters were fun to read about, i loved luella from the beginning. it took me a bit to get used to eldas, but i eventually warmed up to him. willow was one of my favourite side characters. the others were great, but willow definitely stuck with me. and harrow. he was an interesting character. i didn’t like him until the very end.
the plot itself was very interesting. i’m not usually into the enemies to lovers or any of those sorts of tropes, but elise kova did a really good job in a deal with the elf king.
the writing style was incredible. (the book could’ve had no plot and i would’ve loved the way the words flowed.)
and still, i struggle to write a proper review of books that i love.
have you read a deal with the elf king? if so, tell me what you thought of it!
