the it girl review
the it girl is the first book i’ve read by ruth ware, but i’ve heard she’s a well renowned author of mystery and thriller fiction. knowing this, i went into the it girl with fairly high expectations – and i certainly wasn’t let down!
the writing style was easy to escape into. everything flowed nicely. coupled with relatable characters, the it girl is a recipe for success.
filled with lots of plot twists that i didn’t see coming, and red herrings that kept leading me in the wrong direction, i was never bored. i couldn’t put the damn book down, as i needed to know what was going to happen next.
my only qualm with the it girl was sometime in the middle, hannah (our mc) became rather annoying. although she’d come right by the end.

thanks wendy.
I read ‘The Woman In Cabin 10’ by her and really liked it. Adding this to my TBR pile.
i haven’t read that one yet, but it’s on my tbr!
