the housemate review
i recently read and loved the housemate by sarah bailey. there were so many twists and turns, i was surprised with how it ended!
oli was an interesting character, with her own set of flaws, but i loved her anyway. i found it different that she was a journalist rather than the typical detective.
the plot was non stop, and something was always happening. i found using an old unsolved case (fictional) case a fun take. there was a lot of backwards and forwards between the old case and the new one, with plenty of foreshadowing (which is something i love).
all in all, the housemate was an amazing book. sarah bailey is easily an author i can see becoming a favourite of mine.

thank you suhani!! i appreciate it.
This one sounds so interesting! I like the idea of it coming from the journalist’s pov as well. It’s fun to read thrillers that stray from the norm!
i absolutely agree! i recently read another one that has a detective team up with a journalist which i found an interesting way of doing things!
